Who are dreamdateuk?

The team behind dreamdateuk.co.uk are a small group of like-minded people who have all used online dating sites in the past and none of our experiences were good.
The people we met along the way were ok (well, most of them), it was the dating sites that were the problem! Using dating sites caused us stress!

The main problems… Fake profiles, expensive never ending costs and the “Join for free” scam.

But the main problem - Fake profiles!!

Fake profiles were by far the greatest issue. on every site we went on, you could see the same people (fake profiles) but with some different details for their profile details and often with a different name! Often, we would send messages off, only to wait, and wait... and wait... for no reply to come, and that’s because there was no real person at the other end!

So, technically, we were paying to access members that didn't exist!  

Another problem was the constant ongoing costs. £10.99 a month, £14.99 a month, £24.99 a month and these costs increased depending on the length of the subscription! So, £10.99 a month (for a years subscription) became as high as £59.99 if you went subscription free and just paid by the month and these costs, went on and on, and on, every month - and when you thought your subscription period was finished, what happened?  It auto-renewed!! This auto renewing business caught most of us out at least once!

And still, most online dating sites are charging these type fees!!

The 3rd main problem was the "Join for Free!" scam. Still you see loads of dating websites saying "Join for Free!" So you think, Ahh that’s good, Its free!! ... But of course, it's not free at all.

And, yes, we "joined" for free, (but that’s all we could do!). As soon as we tried to do anything, we were whizzed over to a payment page, and what was there? All the monthly subscription options starting at £9.99 and going up to £59.99 (and higher!) ... What a con!!

On most sites, "Join for Free" is just a scam! A con to get you to join that site!

There were many other issues as well, but these were by far the problems that spoilt our search the most! In fact, I would go so far as to say, they completely hindered my search for love and made the whole process of using online dating sites unbearable!
