Paris is without a doubt one of our favourite cities in Europe. It's easy to see why, with views like the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower. But, Paris may be costly. So, to help you save money, we've compiled a list of Free Things to Do in Paris.

After many visits to Paris, we realised that you can have a lot of fun in Paris, France without spending a lot of money.

  1. Museums

Paris is well-known for its art and history and for good reason. You must take advantage of amazing attractions like the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay while you are there. But how can I go to these museums if I'm on a tight budget and above the age of 25? If you do not fall into the "Under 25 EU Citizen" category, I recommend scheduling your visit for the first Sunday of the month.

  1. City Museums

One of the many things we discovered throughout our repeated excursions to Paris is that there is some wonderful art to be in the City Museums. The good news is that admission to these institutions is free all year. That's correct, look for the coat of arms above the door, which signifies it's a city museum and there's no admission fee. This is one of the many reasons I adore Paris. They make it affordable to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. All city museums are open to the public all year. There are far too many free museums to list, but the Official Paris Website offers a comprehensive list of free museums in Paris here.

  1. Paris Cemeteries

Free admission to Cimetiere du Père Lachaise - Père Lachaise Cemetery and other Paris Cemeteries. Paris' cemeteries are pieces of art, and they are all free to visit. The Cimetiere du Père Lachaise is one of the world's most famous cemeteries, and it is where Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, and Edith Piaf are buried. The Père Lachaise Cemetery is the largest in Paris and should not be missed. Pere Lachaise Cemetery is in the 20th Arrondissement and covers 110 acres (44 hectares). While some may find visiting a cemetery to be macabre, I do not. The headstones are a piece of art and a memorial to those who have passed away.

  1. Parc Champs De Mars

The parks in Paris, like everything else, are enormous. The Parc Champ de Mars, located at the base of the Eiffel Tower, is one of the most well-known. You might also be in reading The Best Paris Hotels with Views of the Eiffel Tower. You can wander around this public green space or pack a baguette and some cheese for a picnic. Just keep in mind that there is no public drinking in the Parc du Champ de Mars (or any other Parisian park), so reserve the wine for later. After your lunch, proceed to the opposite side of the tower to capture images of it with the carousel and fountains.
