One of the most beautiful destinations to visit in the spring, summer, and autumn is Acadia National Park. After exhausting yourself on the park's many paths, go to Sand Beach, a little beach that extends for just 290 yards and can be reached from Park Loop Road. The tranquility and breathtaking scenery make up for the fact that the water will be quite cold.

Gooch's Beach in Kennebunk is the place to go if you're searching for a more lively atmosphere. Surfers flock to the stretch of soft sand because of the clean break it offers, which is at its peak in the autumn (though summer storms sometimes bring bigger waves). Although there isn't a driving directions concession stand, parents may rest easy knowing that there are lifeguards on duty.

Hampton Beach State Park has a sandy beach that stretches for kilometers. Campers, anglers, picnickers, and those just want to cool down in the Atlantic may do so at this location. And since it's a state park, there are all the amenities you need, such as restrooms, to have a pleasant day there.

This beach is on Lake Winnipesaukee, which is not the coast, yet it is just as beautiful as any Atlantic shore. The beach is soft and the water is shallow, making it ideal for young children. In addition to the beach itself, there is a bustling promenade with activities including lake cruises, several food choices, and even occasional live music.
