Netflix series Emily in Paris, which features Lily Collins as an American social media manager who transfers to her company’s headquarters in the French capital, is a ten-episode race through Emily’s adventures learning the language, culture and faux pas of her new adopted land, all while sporting some outfits that are so wrong, they’re somehow right.

Lily Collins was spotted on set on few days day in a row on Tuesday as she continued to film scenes for the Paramount Network series in Paris, France.

Despite the series’ many clichés and the many, many Emily In Paris memes they’ve spawned—deep down, we’ve been living vicariously through Emily Cooper as she’s traipsed her way around the City of Lights, pain au chocolat in one hand, how-did-she-afford-that Chanel handbag in the other. Emily’s outfits—clearly intended to contrast with her French counterparts—are a riot of colour, patterns, and designer pieces all competing for attention.
