When is the last time you experienced or witnessed an in your face, undeniable miracle? Men in Ministry, we live in a country and a society that is all about me, wonderful me. The American culture is all about doing it my way. We look out for number one. I do not want to forget the constant comparing and judging that some of us do. I think we are all guilty somewhere in the last few sentences. Then how can we expect God to perform a miracle if we are waving a finger in His face saying again and again, by words and actions, "I can do this?" Might as well say, I do not need God that is in effect what the words and actions mean when translated.

God does perform miracles to glorify Himself, He is God and we are not. Something Pastor always says as a reminder. The Bible tells us the last shall be first, be a servant to all. In proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." I do not course of miracles  a Bible Scholar to figure out what God is telling me here. Trust Him with everything we have. Depend on Him for everything. Find miracles around people who have the Faith to live Proverbs 3:5, every day.

Recent miracles, which I have witnessed in the U.S.A.:

A woman rose from the dead in the church parking lot. She dropped dead on the ground the EMT's said she was dead. A few minutes later she is truly alive. She is alive today. How did this happen in the middle of San Francisco? Pastor saw what happened and said grab some people and pray. At that time, we were totally dependent on God.

A woman diagnosed with cancer in 2004 given six months to live. She is alive, active and free of cancer, 8 years later.

A baby pronounced dead in the womb. Today, the little girl, is 7 years old. The parents, with a praying congregation could depend on no one but God.

Not so recently; Peter gets out of the boat and walks on water. He believed for a while, probably until his mind kicked in to say I cannot do this. He was right, but with God all things are possible.

Does God want to perform miracles? God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son. God who loves us to this ultimate extent does want to perform miracles.

We are the miracle stoppers. We are in the way. That is true if we trust in the Lord with all our heart He will do what we ask all the time. "You do not have because you do not ask." James 4:3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. God knows all the selfish motives. The woman rises the baby comes back to life and Peter walked on water. God looks at the pure motive in the heart. Probably for Peter, his motive was pure, until he said look at me
